After 2 weeks in the high school of fairview, we are going to share you the operation of this typical American school.
Fairview high school is a public high school located in fairview township Pennsylvania, it’s part of the fairview school district. There are approximately 600 students and the school’s mascot is the tiger.
First, contrary to the French education, the courses are the same during a semester. For example, a American student has economic, fashion, maths, French and tutorial, everyday at the same time.
Secondly, the hours are different. They start school at 8.25 a.m and finish at 2.58 p.m. furthermore, the courses last 78min and they have only 30min to eat.
Americans can bring their own lunch or buy some food at the cafeteria. What’s more, the high school proposes a lot of sports like lacrosse, cross country, soccer, cheerleading, waterpolo…
Moreover, a large library take up the central of this school.
Finally we can see through the corridors, two pretty dogs who let to relax and calm anxiety. We are sure that we haven’t all discovered !
